Pastor Aaron Sweigart

As a young man growing up, Pastor Aaron always knew there was something more. He believed that God existed but was not sure who He was. God started working on Pastor Aaron’s heart. In March of 2001 at the age of 19, Pastor Aaron put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. At that moment, God started to transform his life for ministry. Pastor Aaron has been in Student Ministry for 8 years. He interned under Pastor Allen Foxworth for three years at Deltona Lakes Baptist Church. In pursuing his career in Ministry, PastorAaron moved to Michigan to attend New Tribes Bible Institute. While in Michigan, Pastor Aaron was hired by Faith Baptist Chapel as Student Pastor. Pastor Aaron was ordained November 11, 2007. Pastor Allen Foxworth and Elder Jim McMaster went to Michigan to participate in his ordination. Pastor Aaron served at Faith Baptist Chapel for two years before coming back to DLBC to become the Student Pastor here. Pastor Aaron is continuing his studies and is now enrolled in Liberty Home Bible Institute. Aaron has a wife, Sarah, who is a great support for him. They were blessed in May 2008 when their son Taylor was born. Sarah and Aaron met in 2003 got married in 2005, and have been in ministry together ever since.

Pastor Fred Lowry was born in Denison, Texas in 1954 while his dad was stationed in the Air Force. He grew up as a child in Delaware and then later settled in Chattanooga, Tennessee for his high school years. While in Tennessee he attended the University of Tennessee for a brief time majoring in physics and then later transferred to Tennessee Temple University to study for the ministry. He completed a B.S. in math education and later completed a Masters Degree and Ph.D in New Testament Theology. Vikki also has a secondary education degree in music and is currently studying Biblical counseling.

Pastor Fred began ministry work over 35 years ago serving in various positions, from music to education, even serving 6 years as a high school principal. He has now pastored for over 20 years, coming to DLBC as pastor in 1993. His chief hobby is bass fishing. Pastor Fred and Vikki were married June 22, 1973 and have 2 children, Vanessa who attends Daytona State College pursuing a degree in molecular biology with plans to attend UCF medical school and Veronica who attends Pine Ridge High School.

Pastor Allen Foxworth is the Associate Pastor in charge of the Discipleship Ministry here at Deltona Lakes Baptist Church. He has been involved with Student Ministry since 1988 and just recently was promoted to Associate Pastor. He taught in various high schools and middle school from 1979 to 2003 until he moved to Deltona from a church in Baker, LA.

Pastor Allen grew up in New Orleans, LA. He earned his BS degree from University of Southern Mississippi 1979, and his MEd degree from Southeastern Louisiana University 1984. He earned his certification in Guidance and Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1991. He also earned a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is presently working on D. Ed. Min from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served in Operation Desert Storm with the 433d Military Police Company in Mainz, Germany.

He is married to Lorna and he has 2 children. Daughter Jessica graduated from Denham Springs High School and Louisiana College. His son Steven graduated from Pine Ridge High School and University of Mobile in Alabama.
